Brazil seeks to strengthen ties with USA and balanced negotiation on steel tariffs
Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin, said on Monday that Brazil wants to deepen its relationship with the United States and seek a win-win understanding with the US negotiations that the US President announced about the steel imports of his country.
In an interview with the radio CBNAlckmin, who last week met for video conferencing with US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, said the US has commercial surplus with Brazil and that 70% of US exports to Brazil have zero fare.
