Brazilian is convicted of killing with 14 -year -old sword in London
Crime occurred on April 30, 2024. Marcus almost beheaded Daniel Anjorin, 14, and attacking five other people for 20 minutes in Hainault. The prosecutors of the case also said that he smelled and bored his pet cat, Wizard, before trying to “kill as many people who could” under the influence of marijuana.
He said he doesn’t remember the day of the crime. The defendant claimed that he had no memories of committing the attacks and denied the murder of Daniel, as well as four accusations of attempted murder, intentional injuries, qualified theft and white gun possession.
Marcus admitted two accusations of possession of an offensive weapon related to two swords. Despite this, he said he bought for display purposes.
On the day of the crime, Marcus told police that he had “many personalities,” including a “professional killer.” Prosecutors said he probably suffered from a psychotic disorder with “symptoms similar to those of schizophrenia.”
He also compared the events to the Hunger Games Franchise. The defendant said he had no intention of hurting anyone. Marcus said he had already used psychedelic drugs and smoked marijuana “three or four times a week” before the attack, but denied having done it that day.
