Brazilian poisoned and asphibrated five children to death, says police

Grandma sought the police after distrusting his daughter. At first deaths were attributed to natural causes.

Children were from 10 months to 3 years. In all, the woman had seven children, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais told Facto News.

One of the children was found with his head facing the couch and another with a diaper in his mouth, says police. Witnesses said the object was removed before the expertise arrived. Gisele lived with a companion and their son in Coimbra. Three of the poisoning victims were also children of this man, the Portuguese police said.

In 2008, the first attempted murder was insecticide in the bottle. The child survived.

In 2010 there were two deaths with a distance of 32 days. At the time, police investigated the cases and confirmed that they were homicides, but could not define who killed. One of the 10 -month -old children was caused by phenobarbital intoxication, a sedative.
In 2019, two deaths occurred with a difference of two and a half months. The Civil Police did not have access to these cases at the time, as a formal occurrence report was not registered. They have only been resumed now.
In 2022, the husband of the suspect was admitted to the hospital with signs of poisoning and relegated consciousness. He was sleepy and confused for about 24 hours, just like the children.
