Brazilians die in a traffic accident on their way to church in Portugal

The two women died at the scene of the accident. Christmas was taken to the University of Coimbra hospital, but died hours later.

The trio was on its way to the church, located in the city of Pombal, when the accident occurred. Viviane’s daughter was in a car ahead that she managed to dodge the car in the opposite direction, the Correio da Manhã said.

A 34 -year -old driver, who was in the opposite direction, is hospitalized in serious condition but is not in danger of dying. He, who did not have his identity disclosed, was the only occupant of his car.

The case is investigated by local authorities. There is still no information on the exact dynamics of the accident, including why the driver went against. Local press did not disclose which crimes the driver should answer.

Juracy and Natalício were natural from Minas Gerais. They leave two children, according to the newspaper Daily of Coimbra. In September 2024, the man made a publication on social networks stating that he had moved to Coimbra. There is no information on the transfer of victims’ bodies to Brazil.
