Bus rollover leaves 24 dead and 5 injured in northern Mexico
The rollover of a bus left at least 24 people dead and injured five other people in Zacatecas, a state located in northern Mexico, in the early hours of Saturday (26).
What happened
Passenger bus accident caused 24 deaths. The vehicle overturned on the first stretch of the journey between the cities of Tepic, in Nayarit, and Ciudad Juarez, in Chihuahua.
Rollover occurred after bus hit a truck. Upon impact, the passenger vehicle plunged into an embankment on Highway 45 Aguascalientes-Zacatecas. The truck overturned on the road itself and spilled the load of corn.
