Carla Zambelli says she will present himself to the Italian authorities, says Portal
The licensed federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) said she must present herself to the Italian authorities not to be considered a fugitive from the Brazilian justice. The presentation would be necessary to officially inform its presence in the Italian territory.
The parliamentarian, who would have arrived in Italy on Thursday (5), told the blog of journalist Natuza Nery, G1who wants to regularize in the country and avoid any impression of affront to local authorities.
Zambelli left Brazil in late May, weeks after being convicted by the Supreme Court (STF) to 10 years and 8 months in prison in closed initial regime, for involvement in the invasion of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) systems.

According to the Federal Police, she crossed the border with Argentina, went to the United States and later traveled to Italy. The deputy claims that her departure from the country aims to seek protection against what she calls political persecution.

Zambelli would have arrived in Rome on Thursday morning, before his name was included in Interpol’s red diffusion list, which is the international alert for location and prison. The inclusion was requested by the Federal Police based on the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the case in the Supreme Court. With the name on the red list, the deputy can be arrested in any country that cooperates with Interpol.
