Fiocruz’s new Weekly Weekly Bulletin, released yesterday (31), points out that the number of cases of VSR (Respiratory Sincient Virus) and Influenza is falling in most states of the country.

However, the bulletin also shows an increase in the number of cases of SRAG (severe acute respiratory syndrome) in young children associated with VSR in the states of Amazonas, Roraima and Rio Grande do Norte, as well as a resumption of growth in Rio Grande do Sul. In the national scenario, cases associated with VSR and influenza remain falling in most of the country.

The Fiocruz Bulletin shows that SRAG cases nationally have a drop in short and long -term trends. This scenario reflects the fall in hospitalizations by influenza A and VSR in most of the country. Regarding COVID-19, the serious cases are down.
