Datafolha in Belo Horizonte: Fuad Noman has 46%, and Bruno Engler, 39%
The mayor of Belo Horizonte, Fuad Noman (PSD)continues to lead the electoral race in the capital of Minas Gerais, three days before the second round of municipal elections. This is what the Datafolha survey, released this Thursday (24), shows.
According to the survey, the current mayor and candidate for re-election appears with 46% of voting intentions, compared to 39% for the state deputy Bruno Engler (PL).
In relation to the previous Datafolha survey, Fuad fluctuated 2 percentage points lower (he had 48%), which also happened with Engler (he had 41%). As a result, the difference of 7 percentage points between the two remained.

Blank/null/none: 10%
Don’t know: 5%
In valid votes (excluding whites, invalids and voters who say they are undecided), Fuad appears with 54% of the electorate’s preference, against 46% for Engler.
Datafolha in São Paulo: 3 days before the 2nd round, Nunes has 49%, and Boulos, 35%
The difference between the two candidates in Datafolha, now 14 percentage points, is the smallest ever recorded in this second round. In valid votes, Nunes has 58%, and Boulos, 42%
Spontaneous
In the spontaneous survey, in which the candidates’ names are not presented to respondents, Fuad Noman leads with 35%, compared to Bruno Engler’s 29%.
The result represents a technical draw, within the margin of error.
Rejection
According to Datafolha, Bruno Engler’s rejection rate reaches 47% among voters in Belo Horizonte.
On the other hand, 36% of voters say they would never vote for Fuad Noman.
The search
The Datafolha research, commissioned by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo and by TV Globointerviewed, in person, 910 people aged 16 or over in Belo Horizonte, between October 22nd and 23rd, 2024. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus. The survey was registered with the Electoral Court under protocol MG-04815/2024.
