I hope the coroner’s inquest finds what the company should have done to save my mother’s life. Katherine Rees
The daughter questioned the lack of perception about her mother’s absence on board. “The ship left, apparently without taking a passenger count,” Katherine pointed out.
Suzanne felt bad while hiking. “We found out from the police that it was a very hot day and that mom felt sick while climbing the hill,” explained the tourist’s daughter. The woman was reportedly instructed to go down without an escort, which is when she separated from the group and ended up alone.
Katherine said her mother was healthy and active. According to Suzanne’s daughter, she gardened and participated in a nature hiking group.
