Doctors complete procedure to alleviate Bolsonaro's hiccups, says Michelle

The procedure to which ex-president Jair Bolsonaro was subjected ended at around 3:05 pm this Monday, 29th, with a view to alleviating the former chief executive’s hiccups. The information was released by the former first lady, Michelle Bolsonaro, on her Instagram profile.

In the post, Michelle said she was waiting for her husband to go up to his room at the DF Star Hospital, in Brasília. The procedure lasted about an hour.

Bolsonaro underwent the first anesthetic blockade procedure for the phrenic nerve on Saturday, the 27th. At the time, the procedure was focused on the right nerve. Today, treatment focused on the left side of the nerve.

Earlier, one of the former president’s sons, Jair Renan, was at the hospital to see his father. Upon leaving, he told journalists: “My father is not well, if he was well he wouldn’t be having the surgery.”
