Eduardo Bolsonaro criticizes Tarcisio and Ratinho Júnior for silence in amnesty
Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) criticized the governors of Sao Paulo, Tarcisio de Freitas, and Paraná, Ratinho Júnior (PSD-PR), for not mentioning the amnesty in their speech about the tariff imposed by the United States. Both addressed the theme during the Expert XP, held on Saturday (26).
“Be wary of those who are concerned about the fare-haraes and does not speak of political prisoners or institutional crisis, ignoring the Trump letter that is expressed in the solution of the problem. They are deceiving you, playing to the audience and prolonging the suffering of those who say defend,” said the Brazilian parliamentarian on Sunday (27) in X (former Twitter).

“Someone has to sit and talk to the United States, do as the other countries did,” Ratinho Jr. said in an Expert XP 25 panel

Three governors brought different positions on the convenience of launching a unique candidacy already in the first round
During the event, Tarcisio said he has been talking to entrepreneurs and political authorities to try to reverse the US measure, but avoided addressing the issue of amnesty. According to him, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of São Paulo may be negatively impact between 0.3% and 2.7% with the 50% tariff applied to Brazilian products.
This is not the first time that Eduardo Bolsonaro aims at the São Paulo governor. Last week, he had already attacked Tarcisio for, according to him, to adopt a conciliatory stance in the face of the tariff. At the time, he accused the ally of “servile subservience to the elites” and stated that the search for negotiation weakens the pressure for a broad amnesty to the accused of coup attempt.

More criticism
The deputy also criticized the governor of Paraná for a statement made during the same event, in which he said that “Bolsonaro is no more important than this commercial relationship between the United States and Brazil.” Ratinho Júnior argued that Brazil follows the example of other countries and seeks a solution negotiated with Americans.
At X, Eduardo Bolsonaro wrote “sorry I governor Ratinho Junior, but ignoring these facts will not solve the problem, will only extend it to the cost of suffering several Brazilians”, along with the image of the letter in which President Trump quotes a supposed persecution made to former President Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil.
