Eduardo says his family lives an alternative version of Trump's story

Former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) used social media this Friday (13) to comment on the family’s situation after the arrest of former president Jair Bolsonaro.

In a post on X, he shared a message from Canadian conservative activist Jack Posobiec and included a comparison with United States President Donald Trump.

Posobiec had published a photo alongside Eduardo at a formal event with the phrase “Bolsonaro Free”. When republishing the content, the former deputy added an illustrated image divided into four scenes and text in English. In the montage, a character similar to Trump appears behind bars.

When commenting on the image, Eduardo stated that the situation faced by his family would be equivalent to what, according to him, could have happened to Trump if he had not been re-elected in 2024. He declared that Jair Bolsonaro “did not commit a crime” and is in prison. He also said that he lives outside the country and that his brothers are the target of investigations.
