Electoral Court confirms victory of former governor Pezão for mayor of Piraí (RJ)

The Electoral Court confirmed the election of the former governor of Rio de Janeiro Luiz Fernando Pezão (MDB) for the city hall of Piraí (RJ).

Last Sunday (6), Pezão received 58.58% (10,714) of the votes in the first round, but the candidacy was sub judice due to a conviction for administrative improbity.

The confirmation of Pezão’s election to command Piraí city hall was registered, on Tuesday (8), in the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) system that publishes the vote total.
