End of the next conflict? What foot are negotiations between Israel and Iran?
But in the face of the climb of Israeli attacks and statements of US support to Israel, Iranian government retreated. Still on the 16th, on the fourth day of conflict, Iran accused the Trump government of being behind Israel’s attacks and suspended negotiations with Washington about the country’s Persian nuclear program. Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baqaei, said that “it makes no sense to negotiate with the main accomplice of aggression against Tehran.”
We have solid evidence that US forces and bases in the region have assisted the attacks of the Zionist regime. We closely monitors and have substantial evidence of how US forces helped the Zionist regime, but more revealing than our evidence is the explicit statements of the US President expressing support. Therefore, we consider the US accomplices of these attacks and demand that they take responsibility. Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, in a statement published on the 16th
Despite denying the involvement, White House was warned of Israeli plans. In an interview with Fox News, Trump said he knew that Israel would attack Iran and stressed that the Islamic country “could not have a nuclear bomb.” He also said that Iran’s airspace is already under total control, after the US send two aircraft carrier to the Middle East in a direct message from which he is with Israel in the conflict.
With Israeli war planes and can freely circulate over Tehran, Israel has little encouragement to interrupt attacks and accept agreement with Iran. The objective of the Netanyahu government, therefore, should follow the destruction of nuclear facilities of Iran and the even greater internal weakening of the Ayatollah regime.
Yesterday, after new Iranian attacks, Trump gave the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The US president said that “for now” will not kill him, as Israel considered, but “patience is running out.” Through the social network Truth Social, Trump announced that he knows exactly where Khamenei is and threatened him, saying that the Iranian is an easy target. Subsequently, the Republican added that Ayatollah is still safe and asked for his “unconditional surrender.”
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the same day, however, that Iran’s supreme leader could face “Saddam Hussein’s same fate.” The Iraqi president was deposed in an invasion led by the US and hanged after trial. “I warn the Iranian dictator not to continue committing war crimes and firing missiles against Israeli citizens,” Katz told Israeli military officials.
