Several people were injured today after an explosion in a steel mill in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area, the state of Pennsylvania, USA. To date, the information from São CBS News and other local news.

What happened

The accident happened at one of US Steel’s plants and would have started around 10:51. According to information from Reuters and Associated Press, dozens of injuries were arrested under the rubble and rescue teams went to the scene.

The most recent information reports that five people were rescued. There are also no records of deaths. Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro posted on the Social Media X platform that his government was in contact with local authorities in Clairton, Pennsylvania, while they responded to the explosion.
