Congress is expected to vote this year’s budget in session next week.
In an interview with journalists, Budget rapporteur, Senator Angelo Colonel (PSD-BA), said he will still analyze the government’s adjustments, arguing that he should present his opinion by the beginning of next week.

The rapporteur also stated that the government presented an economy forecast of $ 14 billion by 2025 with the fiscal adjustment package approved in December by Congress.
After approval of the measures, which included initiatives such as the limitation of minimum wage adjustments and locks for the granting of tax benefits, the government even estimated an impact close to R $ 70 billion for the 2025 and 2026.
