Chamber approves basic text of project that limits increase in the minimum wage and changes BPC

The federal government sent to the National Congress, on Monday, 5, an official message with the request to withdraw from the constitutional urgency of the bill that increases the exemption of income tax for those who receive monthly income of up to R $ 5,000. The message was published in extra edition of the Federal Official Gazette this Monday.

Under constitutional urgency, there was a period of 45 days to assess the bill in the House of Representatives. The period ended on May 3, which would wage the Plenary’s agenda. According to parliamentarians, the government agreed to remove the urgency under the settlement of the Special Commission, scheduled for Tuesday, 6.

The forecast of the Chamber summit is that the bill be voted in plenary only at the beginning of the second half of this year. Then the article goes to the Federal Senate. The expectation of the presidents of the two houses is that the National Congress will take the proposal by the end of this year.
