Haddad: meetings with Alcolumbre and Motta were to 'thank me and say goodbye'

The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, said that he had two farewell meetings this Wednesday (18), with the presidents of the Federal Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), and the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB). The still minister went to meet the presidents at their official residences, in the morning and afternoon.

“I went to the Senate’s official residence in the morning. I said goodbye and thanked President Davi Alcolumbre. And now I did the same with President Hugo Mota: thanking him and saying goodbye”, the minister told journalists in the afternoon. “I think we delivered an important agenda for the country and the results have to be shared with those who helped us get here. Congress was a great partner”, he added.
