Haddad praises Toffoli for the removal of the reimbursement of retirees from the framework

The authorization granted by Minister Dias Toffoli of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), to the government not to account for the tax framework the amounts used to reimburse the victims of improper discounts in the INSS was considered “important” by Finance Minister Fernando Haddad.

But the important thing is that people will be reimbursed,” he said. The amount required to reimburse the more than 3 million affected retirees is estimated by the INSS at R $ 2.1 billion.

In the same decision on the fiscal target, Minister Toffoli approved the agreement presented on Wednesday, 2, by the Attorney General of the Union (AGU) to make payments to retirees and pensioners from July 24, in three lots. The approval shall be submitted to the referendum of the Plenary of the Court.
