How is Bolsonaro's health? See what the last medical report says

Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) is still admitted to the Rio Grande Hospital in Natal, and has evolved in a “stable way” in the last 24 hours. According to a bulletin released by the hospital unit on Saturday, Bolsonaro had a “quiet night” and all vital signs and complementary exams are “within normal”. Blood pressure and heartbeat also follow normal, without the need for control drugs.

“(Bolsonaro) presents excellent mood, reduced abdominal distension and remains unalgesia. All vital signs and complementary examinations remain within normality, without clinical complications to date,” says the bulletin, signed by doctor Luiz Roberto Leite Fonseca, general director of Rio Grande Hospital.

The hospital reported that the former president “follows in venous hydration through central catheter, using parenteral nutrition, maintenance of previously instituted antibiotic therapy, with open nasogastric probe and regular use of other prescribed medications.”

In addition, the hospital reported that, by personal decision, Bolsonaro will be transferred to Brasilia on Saturday, in order to continue the treatment. It is expected to be sent to the DF Star Hospital.

On Friday, 11, the former president felt severe abdominal pain and was urgently attended at the Aluízio Bezerra Municipal Hospital in Santa Cruz (RN). He was then transferred to Rio Grande Hospital in Natal, where he is still hospitalized.

According to a medical report released on Friday, Bolsonaro entered with “abdominal distension and pain.” In social networks, he attributed the problem to a complication in the small intestine, the result of surgeries done after the knife attack suffered in Juiz de Fora (MG) during the 2018 presidential candidacy.
