Padilha: Let's discuss education plan and zero go to those who earn up to $ 5,000

Health Minister Alexandre Padilha said he is not concerned about canceling his visa to the United States. Asked by journalists on Tuesday, 16, he quoted the song by singer Luka and said, “I don’t care.”

Padilha talked to journalists on Tuesday after announcing that the Unified Health System (SUS) card will no longer have his own number and will be registered by the patients’ CPF.

The minister was invited to participate in the Conference of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and UN General Assembly in New York next week. Last month, the US government canceled the visas of the minister of the minister’s wife and daughter, as part of the sanctions to Brazilian authorities. Padilha did not have a visa repealed, because the authorization for him to enter the US has been overcome since 2024.

“This visa business is just like that ‘so I don’t care’. You are more concerned about the visa than me. ‘I don’t care,'” said the minister.

Padilha also said that he did not decide about his participation in the UN events, because he is focused on ensuring the approval of the provisional measure of the program “now has specialists”. The program, which focuses on expansion of population access to specialized care, is the main action of the Lula 3 government in the health area.

The minister also referred to federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), son of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL). Eduardo, who is in the US, articulated Trump pressure measures to Brazil due to Bolsonaro’s trial.

“It is only worried about those who want to go to the United States. I don’t want to go to the United States. Just worried about who wants to leave Brazil or want to go there to do homeland betrayal as some are doing. It’s not my interest. I’m not there about it,” said the Minister of Health.
