Israel approves Gaza Planning Plan, with 123 dead at 24 h
Since the beginning of the war, 235 people have died of hungry. Most victims (106) are children, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health of Gaza.
167 of the 188 dead were victimized by malnutrition after July 20, 2025, when the situation at the scene worsened. The enclave also counts over 1,300 murdered people trying to collect humanitarian aid.
Israel forbade food in Gaza for two and a half months. The measure, taken between March and May this year, after more than 40 days of ceasefire, was a “pressure tool” against Hamas, according to the Israeli government.
Resumption of food delivery was not effectively done, according to organizations. UN and UNICEF denounced that the flow of food entering the country’s borders was not enough for the population of more than 2 million people. With international pressure, Israel authorized the sending of air aid, also considered insufficient, and announced 10 -hour breaks in conflicts for food distribution.
Genocide complaint was reinforced by Israeli groups last week. A report published by B’TSelem and Physicians for Human Rights points out that Israel made “clear and intentional” attacks against civilians in Gaza only because of their identity as Palestinians, causing “serious and irreparable damage.”
Israel denies genocide and states that its actions in Gaza are motivated by self -defense. Netanyahu government states that it acts to prevent “terrorist Hamas” actions. Regarding hunger in Gaza, the country states that the UN has made it difficult to distribute food and that Hamas has intercepted deliveries to harm the population, information that has been refuted by international organizations and military sources.
