Israel launches its first attack on the center of Beirut, Lebanon

Israel attacked the center of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, for the first time since the start of more direct clashes with Hezbollah.

What happened

Attack hit a building in the city of Cola this Monday (30). Previously, most bombings were concentrated in the south of the country.

Hezbollah allies were killed. The armed group Jamaa Islamiya, which reinforces the Hezbollah contingent in operations in northern Israel, announced the death of four members. The PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) had already announced the death of three of its members following an attack in Beirut. The leader of Hamas in Lebanon also died.
