Funeral gathered over 100,000 people, including Trump
State Farm Stadium – which received Charlie’s funeral today – has a capacity of about 70,000 people and has been crowded. In addition to the audience who managed to enter the stadium, thousands of people settled outside to pay their honors to the conservative activist. Authorities estimate an audience of over 100,000 people in total.
US President Donald Trump was present alongside his deputy, Jd Vance, and other authorities. They are: the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio; Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth; Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard; the presenter tucker Carlson; White House Cabinet Deputy Stephen Miller; and the director of the White House Presidential Personal Office, Sergio Gor.
Elon Musk also attended. The billionaire, who was close to Kirk, was applauded by the audience. Other republican politicians, conservative influencers and lawyers were also present.
Event is test for the secret service
Due to its size and characteristics, an event in a stadium is considered test at a time of hostilities. Large and open places often represent higher difficulties in monitoring.
