Jair Renan Bolsonaro cries in the House when talking about Eduardo's permanence in the USA

Councilman Jair Renan Bolsonaro (PL-SC) cried at the Tribune of Balneário Camboriú City Hall on Wednesday, 19, when defending the half brother, Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP). The speech took place after colleagues in the house commented on the announcement of Eduardo da Câmara’s license request to live in the United States.

At Tuesday, 18, Councilman Eduardo Zanatta (PT) said the deputy’s license was motivated by the fear of being arrested.

In the podium, Jair Renan asked for respect with his family. “When you are going to attack someone, attack the person, not family attack. I never disrespected any familiar. What happened yesterday (Tuesday) was stingy and profanity,” he said.

He also quoted his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), and said it was hard to see him crying for Eduardo’s decision not to return to Brazil.

“It was hard to see his speech on the timeline. It was hard to see my father in that state. I, who I’m a brother, have already felt a lot, but my father, what he felt many here know. Many here are parents,” he said.

An excerpt from Bolsonaro’s “04” speech was shared by himself on his Instagram profile.

Although he announced that he will graduate from office, Eduardo Bolsonaro has not yet submitted the official request to the Board of Directors. PL President Valdemar Costa Neto said on Wednesday that the party intends to launch him to the Senate for Sao Paulo and that he would return to Brazil in four months.

Eduardo said, however, that he is not expected to return: “I will only have tranquility to return to Brazil when Alexandre de Moraes is no longer minister of the Supreme Court or is being put to his place.”

The deputy said he decided to stay in the United States “to seek sanctions from human rights violators,” referring to the Supreme Court Minister (STF).
