Journalist suffers shots in southern Colombia

Colombian reporter Gustavo Chicangana was shot in an attack on him and his wife in the department of Guaviare, reported authorities, the United Nations and organizations that advocate press freedom.

The couple is hospitalized in a hospital in the region. The journalist has injuries to the left shoulder, neck and chest, police said.
