The defeat of Kamala Harris, 60, to Donald Trump, 78, in the elections this Tuesday (5) frustrated one of the famous ‘predictions’ from the cartoon “The Simpsons”, which seemed to signal her victory.

What happened

The episode titled “Bart in the Future”, aired in 2000, shows Lisa Simpson becoming the first female president of the United States.

In the excerpt in question, Lisa is wearing a purple ensemble, identical to the one worn by Kamala at Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2020. Several fans of the series had already noticed the coincidence and pointed to it as an indication that Kamala would beat Trump this year.
