Lawless war: Ukraine carried out attacks on schools and kindergartens in Russia
The Ukrainian Army spread a large number of explosive drones by means of drones in the vicinity of three schools and 17 kindergartens in the Bezhitsky district, in the border region of Bryansk, on Russian soil, denounced the local governor, Yegor Kovalchuk.
“The enemy launched deliberate attacks with drones against social facilities in the Bezhitsky district. A large number of explosive devices were launched against three schools and 17 kindergartens,” he wrote on his MAX account, the Russian messaging network, where he published images of the devices.
He indicated that several streets in the town have been closed.
“At the scene of the events, emergency services are working, demining work is being carried out,” he indicated, and called on the local population to remain in their homes.
The area of Russia exposed to Ukraine
He indicated that the sappers had to evacuate a woman who was driving a car, around which the drones were scattered.
“They protected the driver with a bulletproof vest and took her out of the area of possible impact of shrapnel,” he said.
The Russian border regions of Kursk, Bryansk and especially Belgorod are attacked almost daily by short-range drones, missiles and Ukrainian artillery, causing large numbers of civilian casualties in this war.
Faced with this situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Army to create a ‘security strip’ in the Ukrainian regions of Sumi and Kharkov. Efe
