Lula: Bolsonaro was coward, fought blow and death and “fled to Miami”

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva repeated on Friday (7) criticism of his predecessor Jair Bolsonaro, pressured by investigations for allegedly commanded an attempted coup.

Lula did not mention Bolsonaro’s name, but the reference was clear. The petista gave the statement in a speech in settlement of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) in Campo do Meio (MG).

Discharged the death of a President of the Republic. Plotted the death of the deputy. It plotted the death of the president of the Electoral Justice. And when he failed, he put his tail in his legs and fled to Miami. He left his partners here. That’s why he has to be judged, ”said the petista.

“He who has the courage I had. If it is innocent, fight for its innocence, prove it was innocent, ”said Lula. The petista refers to the judicial victories that rehabilitated him politically after leaving the prison in 2019.
