Lula: If he were a fake leader, he would wait for COP30 to announce a test on the Equatorial Margin
BELÉM (Reuters) -President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said on Tuesday that he would have been a false leader if he had waited for the United Nations COP30 climate summit to be held in Belém this month for the government’s authorization to check whether there is oil in the Equatorial Margin region in the State of Amapá to be announced.
‘If I were a false and lying leader, I would wait until the COP to announce it,’ said Lula in an interview with journalists in Belém.
