(Reuters)-President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Friday that, in the presidential election next year, it will be necessary to tell those who want to govern the country, whether to the financial system of Avenida Faria Lima, in São Paulo, or to the Brazilian people.

In a discourse in Contagem (MG), to announce resources for urban mobility works, Lula defended social programs and income tax exemption for those who earn up to $ 5,000 with greater taxation on the richest and stated that their opponents have gathered “in the quiet” thinking of ways to defeat him in next year’s election.
