Lula loses advantage and Tarcisio leads the 2nd round scenario to 2026, says Atlasintel

The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, recorded 48.4% of voting intentions, compared to 46.6% of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, in a second -round simulation for the presidency conducted by the Lamam Pulse survey, conducted by the atlasintel to Bloomberg Newspublished this Thursday (27).

The result reveals a turn to July, when Lula led for about 4 points in the same survey.

Against Bolsonaro, who is ineligible and about to be tried for plotting a coup d’état, Lula appears tied, with 48.3% each. Already against Michelle Bolsonaro, former first lady named as a possible alternative, Lula would win 48.8% to 47.9%.

The same poll pointed out a decline of two percentage points in the popularity of President Lula, which was 48% in August, as a sign of the impulse obtained after the clash with Donald Trump. Already the disapproval rose a point, to 51% in the same period.

Atlasintel heard 6,238 people throughout Brazil between August 20 and 25, with a margin of 1 percentage point and 95%confidence level.
