The military also denied being the author of the messages revealed by a report by the magazine Look in which he allegedly confessed to lied to the Federal Supreme Court. “There is no message exchange. It doesn’t exist.”

Cid gave testimony of three and a half hours to the Federal Police (PF), in Brasilia, on Friday, 13, after investigators found indications that former Tourism Minister Gilson Machado tried to get a Portuguese passport to the military.
