Minister of Justice will have meetings with security councils next week
Starting this week, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Wellington César Lima e Silva, will hold meetings with representatives of the justice system and public security forces, aiming to strengthen and dialogue between the institutions.
On Tuesday, the 3rd, the meeting will be with the National Council of Public Security Secretaries (Consesp), on the 4th, a meeting is expected with the president of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), minister Edson Fachin. On the 5th, the meeting will be with the National Council of Civil Police Chiefs (CONCPC).

In addition to Lula, the participation of the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), and the president of the STF, Edson Fachin, is expected.
Refit takes legal action against total ban ordered by the ANP
The ANP ordered the total closure of the refinery on the 29th, after an inspection identified an imminent serious risk of fire in the unit.
New meetings are expected for next week, with the National Council of Attorneys General (CNPG), Council of General Commanders of Military Police (CNCG), College/Council of Presidents of the Courts of Justice of Brazil (Consepre) and with the National Council for Criminal and Penitentiary Policy (CNPCP).

According to the Ministry, the initiatives reinforce the ministry’s commitment to permanent dialogue, interinstitutional coordination and the joint construction of solutions to the challenges of Justice and public security, in the context of a broad and integrated agenda to combat organized crime as a State action, guided by cooperation between federal entities, security forces and the Justice system and by attention to the concrete needs of the population.
Among the topics that will be covered are: strategic axes aimed at the structural dismantling of criminal organizations, expanding the reach of the Celular Seguro program, preventing and combating feminicide, controlling and repressing arms trafficking and the strategic management of assets seized from organized crime. The meetings also aim to reaffirm the role of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security as an articulation body between the different branches of the Justice system and security forces, promoting institutional alignment and federative cooperation.
