Moraes allows his children to visit Bolsonaro without prior approval
The minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes decided, this Friday, 2, to relax the rules for family visits to former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), waiving the requirement for prior authorization for the entry of children.
With permanent validity, the order authorizes meetings with Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), Carlos Bolsonaro (PL-SC), Jair Renan Bolsonaro (PL-SC) and Laura Bolsonaro, the ex-president’s youngest daughter.

Visits are restricted to Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9am and 11am, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes. The decision also sets the limit of two family members per day, with the determination that meetings take place separately.
In practice, the schedules were already being used, but each visit needed to be analyzed and released individually by the minister. Last month, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro obtained authorization under the same terms.
Bolsonaro returned to the Federal Police on Thursday, after spending a week in hospital to undergo medical procedures. He is serving a sentence of 27 years and three months in prison, imposed for attempted coup d’état and four other crimes.
