Moraes authorizes Bolsonaro to receive a visit from private doctors

Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), authorized former President Jari Bolsonaro to receive a visit from his private doctors on Thursday (7).

On Monday (4), Moraes decreed the former president’s house arrest and restricted visits at Bolsonaro’s house, who lives in Brasilia.

Moraes accepted the request made by the defense for the former president to be answered by doctors Claudio Augusto Vianna Birolini, Luciana de Almeida Costa Tokarski, Erasmo Tokarski and Leandro Santini Echenique.

In the decision, Moraes also said that, in case of urgency, the defense of Bolsonaro must prove, within 24 hours, the need for eventual hospitalization.
