Moraes dismisses Bolsonaro’s request for house arrest after preventive
Minister Alexandre de Moraes denied, this Saturday (22), the request made by the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) so that, in a possible decree of the execution of the sentence for a coup d’état, it would be served at home.
In the request filed this Friday (21), the lawyers state that the former president’s health condition would make it unfeasible for him to serve his sentence in a prison unit.
With the conversion of Bolsonaro’s legal status to preventive detention, the minister stated that the request lost purpose.
