Câmara approves project to take spending on health and education from the fiscal goal

The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), released this Saturday, 8th, the House’s agenda for next week, with the inclusion of the anti-faction bill – text forwarded by the government to Congress in the wake of the mega-operation that left 121 people dead in Rio de Janeiro. The proposal is reported by deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP), São Paulo’s security secretary.

President of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, chose São Paulo’s Secretary of Security as PL rapporteur

Motta scheduled the House’s first deliberative session of the week for Tuesday, 11th, at 1:55 pm. The session will be semi-presential, as decided by the President of the Chamber in response to the request of party leaders. This means that deputies will be able to vote remotely in this week’s sessions, without needing to be in Brasília.

The agenda also contains other projects related to Public Security, such as the one that increases the allocation of revenue from fixed-odd betting games (bets) to finance public security. The rapporteur of this project is deputy Captain Augusto (PL-SP).

Another project on the list to be debated by parliamentarians is the one that conditions regime progression, temporary release and the replacement of a custodial sentence with a sentence restricting the collection of biological material to obtain the prisoner’s genetic profile. The rapporteur is deputy Arthur Maia (União-BA).

The discussion of a project that amends the National Tax Code to address general rules for dispute resolution, consensuality and administrative processes in tax and customs matters is still on the agenda. The urgent processing of the proposal was approved on the 21st. The rapporteur is deputy Lafayette de Andrada (Republicanos-MG).
