Motta promises “effective” project to protect children on networks
The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), announced on Tuesday (12) that he will create a working group to present a bill proposal “that can bring the most advanced and effective bill to protect our children.”
The idea is that the project has effective measures to ensure the safety of children and adolescents on the internet.
The working group will be formed by parliamentarians and experts and will have 30 days to present a proposal.

“There are important guidelines that require debate, negotiation, time. But this agenda cannot wait, because a lost childhood does not recover. A injured child carries this brand forever,” said Motta.
The deputy also announced that next Wednesday (20), the House will hold a general commission in the plenary so that parliamentarians and guests can make a broad debate on the subject.
“This discussion is unadvised and even more so, the position of this home on this topic,” said Motta.
According to him, there are more than 60 bills filed in the House on this topic.
The subject gained repercussions after complaints from Felca Bress influencer against profiles who use little children and adolescents, dancing sensual songs or talking about sex in programs released on digital platforms to monetize this content, generating money for channel owners, called “children’s adultization”.
Priorities
Hugo Motta presented on Tuesday the topics that will be a priority for voting in the second half:
- Proposal for amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that restructures the Public Security System, called PEC of Public Security;
- New National Education Plan (PNE);
- Regulation of Artificial Intelligence;
- Administrative Reform;
- Government bill that exempts income tax, from 2026, who earns up to R $ 5,000 per month (PL 1087/25);
- Regulation of work by application; and
- Fight the fraud of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
