Musk at Kirk’s funeral: ‘It was murdered by darkness’

Elon Musk was applauded by the audience present at the stadium. The businessman returned with nods and sat in a place reserved for guests. It is not expected to speak at the ceremony.

Musk knew Kirk in person. Charlie would have acted behind the scenes to reconcile Elon and President Donald Trump, after the two break ties and trade publicly in June, according to CNN International.

Kirk’s funeral

Ceremony that marks goodbye to Charlie Kirk receives about 100,000 people in Arizona. The State Farm, with a capacity of about 70,000 people, was crowded, but thousands more honored the funeral outside the stadium.

US President Donald Trump was present alongside his deputy, Jd Vance, and other authorities. They are: the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio; Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth; Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard; the presenter tucker Carlson; White House Cabinet Deputy Stephen Miller; and the director of the White House Presidential Personal Office, Sergio Gor.

Charlie Kirk was murdered on September 10 at the age of 31. At the time, he attended an event at Utah Valley University, when he was shot in the neck.
