NGO reports more than 60 Israeli bombings in a few hours in Syria
More than 60 Israeli bombings hit military sites in just a few hours across Syria, almost a week after a rebel alliance led by Islamists overthrew President Bashar al Assad, an NGO reported this Saturday (14).
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) recorded 61 bombings in less than five hours in Syria. Israel continues to intensify its air strikes against this territory, especially targeting tunnels in the mountains that house ballistic missile depots, the NGO added.
The OSDH, which has a wide network of sources on the ground, has counted 446 Israeli bombings since the fall of Assad on December 8. The NGO also reported other Israeli bombings a few hours earlier, which destroyed “a scientific institute” and “other military positions in Barzeh, in the far northeast of Damascus.”
