During the government of Jair Bolsonaro, Musk even visited Brazil to implement Starlink projects, his satellite internet company in the Amazon.

“Anyone who thinks like this (that Musk was important to sanctions or tariffs against Brazil) does not really understand the policy of power here in the United States,” Bannon said. According to him, Musk had no identification with Bolsonaro.

“Remember that it was Maga and President Trump who supported the Bolsonaros, because Bolsonaro is Trump of the Tropics. The Bolsonaros are loved here because we see each other, ordinary people going to the streets and saying, ‘Hey, our voices tell,'” says Bannon.
