Pablo Marçal buys home of $ 25 million in the USA

The businessman and former candidate for the City of Sao Paulo Pablo Marçal (PRTB) bought at the end of February a house for about $ 25 million in the United States. The acquisition of the property, which belonged to former soccer player Kaka and is in Orlando, Florida, was confirmed by the former coach’s advisory.

The house was bought by Marçal for US $ 4.35 million (R $ 24,967,695.00) and is about 620 square meters. It was built in 2003 and has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as a garage for three cars, pool, spa and a synthetic grass soccer field. The house would have been acquired by Kaka when he signed with the Orlando City team in 2015. He lived there between 2015 and 2017.

Pablo Marçal participated in the elections for the City of São Paulo in 2024, in which he was third and, therefore, outside the second round. In 2022, he considered the Presidency of the Republic, but had the candidacy rejected by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

For acts committed during the municipal elections, he was sentenced last month to eight years of ineligibility by the São Paulo Regional Electoral Court (TRE). The convictions are for abuse of political and economic power and he resorts to the TSE. The entrepreneur also faces other lawsuits in court.

In an interview with CNN last week, Marçal stated that he is not sure if the Planalto or the Government of São Paulo will be disputed if he can reverse the ineligibility.

In the self-declaration of assets presented to the Electoral Court in 2024, the former coach reported having a equity of R $ 193.5 million. The list of goods included financial assets, land, a commercial room and a farm, but no house, apartment or car.
