KARACHI (Reuters) – The Pakistan Army spokesman claimed that India launched ballistic missiles that fell into Indian territory, announcing the fact in a sudden statement at the 1h50 national station on Saturday (local time), without providing details to support the allegation.

“I want to give them the shocking news that India has shot six Ballistic missiles from Adammpur. One of the ballistic missiles was hit in Adampur, and the rest of the five missiles was hit in the Ambitsar area in the Indian Punjab,” said the Army spokesman at his brief video statement.

The District Commissioner of Amritsar, in a text message between Friday and Saturday, said: “Do not panic. The siren is playing, because we are on red alert. Do not panic, as before, keep the lights off and move away from the windows. We will inform them when we are ready to resume energy supply.”
