Pension expenditure projection rises by R$ 7.669 billion, say Finance and Planning
The Revenue and Expense Assessment Report for the 5th two months, released on Friday night (22) by the Ministries of Finance and Planning, brings revisions in revenue expectations and expenditure projections until the end of this year, in comparison with the 4th quarter report, published in September.
The forecast for spending on social security benefits in 2024 rose from R$932.364 billion to R$940.034 billion, an increase of R$7.670 billion.
Government expects to raise R$17 billion by the end of the year with revenue package
The projection was released on Friday night (22), by the Ministry of Planning, in the bimonthly income and expense assessment report for the 5th quarter of 2024
The projection for personnel payments and social charges fell by R$1.940 billion, to R$351.625 billion.
The estimated values for the payment of court orders and court sentences fell by R$30 million, reaching R$19.377 billion.
On the revenue side, the estimate for revenue from dividends from state-owned companies increased by R$4.505 billion, to R$72.966 billion.
Government blocks R$6 billion from the 2024 Budget
Volume of frozen resources rose from R$13.3 billion to R$19.3 billion
Expected revenue from concessions fell by R$2.197 billion, to R$18.545 billion.
The report also shows that the projection for revenue from royalties this year rose by R$250.6 million, to R$123.419 billion.
