Pilot turned off the wrong engine before a plane crash in Korea

This is because, in general, air accidents are caused by multiple factors and all possibilities should be analyzed according to international protocol.
Preliminary report cited duck remains on both engines. The document released in January, however, gave no details about the damage caused in each of them.
Union accuses investigators to use pilots as ‘scapegoat’
Institution pointed out the absence of scientific and technological bases that the plane could have landed in security with the left engine on. The union also mentioned that the initial report pointed to the existence of remains of birds in both engines.
Press announcement should take place following the meeting, but was canceled. In response to a request from the union and families of the victims, the South Korean government chose to postpone the report.
