Pope does respiratory physiotherapy and continues to work even hospitalized
“Francisco, brother, we want to see him healthy,” shouts a group of Mexican pilgrims. “With this sunlight, we have even more hope in the Pope’s rapid recovery,” Rita Crolla told AFP. The 65 -year -old Italian is visiting her sister -in -law at the hospital on the outskirts of the Italian capital and praying for the 88 -year -old pontiff.
Mexicans traveled to the Jubilee. Among the faithful who came today, a group of Mexican pilgrims traveled to the Vatican to the Jubilee, the “Holy Year” to be celebrated in 2025 under the sign of hope. “Today we returned to Mexico and wanted, before leaving, come and see where he is. No matter that we only see the window, but also (we wanted) to say some prayers for him,” explains Lili Iparrea Fernández, a 74 -year -old lady, with tears in her eyes.
“We would like to come in and kiss your feet,” says Flor Mercado García. The 66-year-old woman carries a bouquet of yellow flowers to offer Francisco, but ends up putting them at the foot of the statue of John Paul II, where candles, drawings and support messages are stacked.
