Prison officer is sentenced for relationship with prisoners

Isabelle Dale, 23, was a prison guard at a maximum security prison on the Isle of Sheppey, England, but lost her position after an investigation found she had relationships with two inmates.

What happened

Prayer room was the meeting place. In order not to be interrupted during relations with the two prisoners – including Shahid Sharif, 33, sentenced to 12 years for robbery in a jewelry store – other inmates kept vigil at the door of the room. The information was presented during the trial.

Dale was indicted for misconduct in public office. According to the English newspaper “Daily Star”, she tried to bring prohibited objects into the penitentiary. He carried envelopes with marijuana, claiming they were spices and drugs inside the engagement ring he received from one of the inmates.
