PT leader calls for investigation against Nikolas and Bolsonaro brothers for coup plotting
The leader of the Workers’ Party (PT) in the Chamber of Deputies, Lindbergh Farias (RJ), will present this Tuesday (6) a representation to the Federal Police (PF) against deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), in addition to senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), on charges of encouraging a United States military intervention in Brazil.
“They continue with the coup attempt, it is a continued coup. Now they openly encourage foreign armed intervention by the United States against Brazil”, he declared in a video published on Instagram.

The publication features a montage showing President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) being held by two US military personnel. The scene recalls the image of the arrest of the former president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“Nikolas wants to be funny when he makes a montage like that. Nikolas, the one who is arrested is Bolsonaro and the one who is going to be arrested is you. You should have respect, brat, with Brazilian democracy”, said the PT member.

Lindbergh based the representation presented to the Federal Police on comments from parliamentarians about the tariff and the United States military action against Venezuela, mentioned in the publications.
Federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) also filed a representation with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) against senator Flávio Bolsonaro and deputy Nikolas Ferreira, for alleged support of the crime of coup d’état.
“It’s not an opinion. It’s speeches, threats and pieces of propaganda that try to normalize the idea of foreign military intervention in Brazil, question elections, incite war and depose a legitimately elected government”, defended Lindbergh.
