Quaest survey in Curitiba shows Pimentel with 42% of intentions and Graeml with 39%
The Quaest survey on the dispute for the City Hall of Curitiba, commissioned by the RPC and released this Saturday, 19th, shows the current vice-mayor Eduardo Pimentel (PSD) with 42% of voting intentions, technically tied with Cristina Graeml (PMB), who has 39%.
Another 15% are white, null or say they will not vote, and 4% are undecided.
The margin of error is three percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence interval is 95%.
Quaest also asked interviewees whether the choice highlighted in the stimulated scenario was definitive or whether it could still change: 72% said the decision was definitive, and 28% could change their vote.
The candidates’ knowledge and image were also measured. Pimentel is seen positively by 66%, and negatively by 24%, another 8% say they don’t know him, and 2% didn’t want to or didn’t know how to respond.
Graeml has a positive image for 53% and a negative image for 26%, while it is unknown for 18%. Another 3% did not want to or did not know how to respond.
Former federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Novo) published a video on his social network last Wednesday, 16th, defending Pimentel against Graeml.
The action of the former prosecutor of the Republic comes at a time when supporters of the former President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro (PL) are beginning to embrace the campaign of the PMB candidate, who presents herself as “anti-system”.
The former president explicitly supported the journalist, despite his party having nominated Pimentel’s vice president.
